LifeBridge Community Services, one of the largest human service organizations and behavioral health providers in the region, and Fairfield Counseling Services Inc. are pleased to announce their merger effective April 1, 2016. FCS will become a part of LifeBridge's behavioral health program, and will continue to operate under its current name at the same location on 125 Penfield Road in Fairfield.

Both organizations share a commitment to providing a comprehensive range of high-quality behavioral services for adults, adolescents and families. Last year, LifeBridge's behavioral health program served more than 3,000 individuals and families, and with the merger will serve an additional 1,100 in the coming year.

We specialize in working with individuals, couples, parents and their families who are experiencing distress in their lives or conflict within their most important relationships. We provide support, education and practical interventions to help clients pinpoint the root of current problems that are of concern and then begin to work towards their resolution to get "unstuck" so that life can either get back on track or take a new track.

Our History

Fairfield Counseling Services, Inc. is a private, non-profit community psychotherapy counseling center, established in 1969 and staffed by licensed mental health professionals. We have grown along with our clients from a drop in center to a state licensed psychiatric and substance abuse outpatient clinic. The Agency is committed to seeking the most effective interventions in promoting the mental and emotional well-being of adults, adolescents and families in Fairfield and the surrounding communities.
